Raised as an athlete, Scott has the persistence and enthusiasm to train a body efficiently, diversely, and safely. His human kinetics expertise pushes people to move and strengthen for everyday living. Building the most functional body possible is his goal. His methodology is simple: power the mind before all else. A natural-born leader, Scott embodies a passion for form, pushing his clients to find the highest versions of themselves.


Steve Hackett

SWEAT Trainer

Steve brings his energy, big beats and exercise knowledge all the way from Australia.   A self-proclaimed fitness class addict, he draws from his experience as an event specialist to bring people from all walks of life together. Steve’s passion for fitness is evident from the busy lifestyle he leads, and believes finding challenging yet balanced workouts that complement lifestyles are key.  Come sweat with Steve and leave it all out in the floor!


Sarah Armstrong

Paralegal, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Trainer, Sarah is passionate about living a full, diverse and sweaty life. She is true believer in balancing a healthy mind, body and spirit. Drawing from her inspirations she looks forward to empowering clients and helping them find their strength and a mind body connection with every SWEAT workout.


Lauren Johnston

SWEAT Trainer

Lauren believes that TRX is for everybody and every BODY! She empowers her class to push the upper limits of their comfort zone while feeling confident in their own ability. Anticipate a high energy class where you will SWEAT, laugh, learn and burn together.


Sarah Devlin

SWEAT Trainer

Now calling North Vancouver home after many years living abroad in Australia, the UK and Hong Kong, Sarah loves to push people to their edge physically without compromising technique.  Her rich personal training, Pilates background and now TRX training is founded on the belief that balance wins when it comes to all aspects of life.  Sarah is excited to share this philosophy with the entire SWEAT Vancity community.

Cecilia is enthusiastic about fitness and helping people live an active lifestyle. She believes everyone needs help to push themselves to their next level on their fitness journey and loves to be there to motivate, encourage and challenge people. Cecilia is well versed in both personal and group training settings and previously worked with with a pre and postnatal fitness company to help moms and moms-to-be become healthy, strong and ready for the challenges of every day life.


Elizabeth Henry

Strength and passion are important to Elizabeth and she shares this with everyone around her.  She loves to motivate the right way, promoting a functionally fit and healthy life.  Proper form and technique are key for an optimal workout that creates results far beyond the walls of SWEAT.
